KAALU®
Calibration tables
KAALU® calibration tables are used to calibrate optical measuring systems in pick and place machines. They are used in fields such as automation, VR/AR, measuring technology, autonomous driving, sensors and cameras in driving assistance systems and robotics. Precision, good optical performance and physical robustness play a key role in these fields.
We are commissioned by various renowned manufacturers to produce customer-specific calibration tables in accordance with the principles of lightweight design. These calibration tables are used for computer applications or for the calibration of a wide range of driver assistance systems.
To precisely calibrate an optical scanning process, the calibration plate must provide a flat surface for the scanning principle. That is why we use ALUCORE® as the basis for our calibration tables. The lacquer finish on the surface, which is applied using a coil coating process, is perfect for screen printing and enables the panels to be finished with an accurate calibration pattern.
The aluminium composite panels that the KAALU® calibration tables are based on enable excellent flatness and rigidity at a low weight. Furthermore, the honeycomb composite panel also offers good thermal stability and corrosion resistance.
We offer KAALU® in the following specifications:
- Thicknesses: 6, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm
- Widths: up to 1500 mm
- Lengths: up to 6250 mm
